Districts

Clubs are split between 29 districts within RIBI. Each district is led by a District Governor, elected for one year, who represents all clubs within their district.

District 1010 - North and East of Scotland. Ranges from Fife in the South to Thurso in the North and includes the islands of Shetland, Orkney, Western Isles and Skye.

District 1020 - Southern Scotland including Edinburgh.

District 1030 - The North East of England - Northumberland, Tyne & Wear, Durham, Teesside.

District 1040 - Includes North and West Yorkshire and part of the East Riding; the National Parks of the Yorkshire Dales and North Yorkshire Moors, as well as the cities of York, Bradford, Leeds and Halifax.

District 1050 - The North West of England - parts of Manchester, Greater Manchester, Cheshire, North Derbyshire, North Staffordshire and the Peak District.

District 1060 - The Heart of England, covering Birmingham and the West Midlands, including parts of Worcestershire, Warwickshire and Staffordshire.

District 1070 - The East Midlands, covering an area from Sleaford in the north to Biggleswade in the south and from Boston in the east to Hinckley in the west. Includes Leicestershire, Northamptonshire, parts of Lincolnshire, Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire and Rutland.

District 1080 - Most of East Anglia, including Norfolk, Suffolk, and parts of Cambridgeshire, Essex and Hertfordshire.

District 1090 - Spanning the Counties of Berkshire, Oxfordshire, part of Middlesex and part of Buckinghamshire.

District 1100 - The West Country - stretches from Hereford in the north west to Evesham in the north east; from Clevedon in the south west to Swindon in the south east; also incorporating Bristol, Cheltenham, Gloucester and Worcester.

District 1110 - Most of Hampshire, East Dorset, South Wiltshire, the Isle of Wight and the Channel Islands.

District 1120 - South East England - includes the counties of Kent and East Sussex and parts of South East London.

District 1130 - Consists mainly of clubs in the Greater London area, but also includes parts of Essex, Hertfordshire and Middlesex.

District 1140 - South and South West of Central London

District 1150 - Covers South Wales, West Wales, and Mid Wales including the Capital

District 1160 - Covers the whole of Ireland - both the Republic and Northern Ireland. 

District 1170 - The county of Devon, excluding the Plymouth area.

District 1180 - Covering Mid Wales and North Wales, Merseyside, together with parts of Cheshire, Lancashire and Shropshire.

District 1190 - Covers much of North West England including Cumbria and Lancashire.

District 1200 - Covers the county of Somerset and parts of West Wiltshire and West Dorset.

District 1210 - Most of Shropshire and Staffordshire, and the western part of the West Midlands.

District 1220 - Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and parts of Staffordshire and Leicestershire in the East Midlands.

District 1230 - Most of the West of Scotland including Glasgow.

District 1240 - Covers most of Essex and part of Hertfordshire.

District 1250 - Covers West Sussex, part of East Sussex including Brighton and part of Surrey.

District 1260 - Covers Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire.

District 1270 - Covers parts of the East, North and South of Yorkshire, and Lincolnshire.

District 1280 - Covers a small geographical area from the plains of Cheshire, through the industrial part of Lancashire and Greater Manchester to the moors of Saddleworth, and the Isle of Man.

District 1290 - Serving the far South West of England: West Devon, Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.
