The Rotary family

There is no such thing as a typical Rotary member, nor a typical club. Each one of our 1,850 Rotary clubs in Britain and Ireland has its own unique personality. Clubs meet on different days of the week, at different times of the day - morning, lunchtime and in the evenings - and are involved in a vast range of different projects and activities.

Northampton Apollo

Our 53,000 members are men and women from all walks of life, of all ages from 18 upwards, with a host of different talents abd professional skills. Some joined Rotary for the social life, some for business networking opportunities, and others for the chance to give something back to their communities.

Yet the one thing they share is a common interest in friendship, making a difference and having a good time in the process. As well as serving their communities, clubs are communities in their own right - vibrant, focused and friendly ones.

To find out how you could become part of the Rotary family, register your interest here and we'll get in touch with details of your local clubs and open events closest to you.

In addition to our Rotary clubs we also run a host of youth clubs for younger Rotary enthusiasts, aged 7- 30. For more information about RotaKids, Interact and Rotaract clubs, please click on the links on the left.
