History

Rotary Global History Fellowship is a virtual world with some real moments of fellowship and service. Our undertaking is to record the data of Rotary from our past, the moments of victory in our present and the visions of success for our future.

The mission of the RGHF is to accumulate and preserve the complete history, values and philosophy of the Rotary movement. The Fellowship encourages others to do the same at every level of Rotary, and publish those results for all to enjoy.

Our activities centre around our website where you will find thousands of articles about Rotary history. Over a million Rotarians from across the world visit the site every year.

As a member you will receive the following publilcations via email:

•    What Paul Harris Said - Consists of quotes by Rotary Founder Paul Harris that are e-mailed to more than 7,500 Rotarians around the world each week. It is very popular among Rotary Clubs to read these quotes during their Rotary meetings. We estimate that as many as 100,000 Rotarians read or hear "What Paul Harris Said" quotes every week.

•    Why I am a Rotarian - Statements from a different Rotarian every week, famous or otherwise, explaining why he or she is a Rotarian.

•    Our Foundation Newsletter - Recognised by leading Rotarians around the world as the best source of information about the activities of The Rotary Foundation of Rotary International.

•    Rotary Global History Day - Featuring events designed to bring the message of Rotary's Global History to all zones of Rotary.
