Rotary on Stamps

Stamps

A group of collectors of the early Rotary commemorative stamps joined together in 1955 to form Rotary on Stamps (RoS) . Today, the group has nearly 200 members from 35 countries and is not only one of the earliest, but is amongst the most active of Rotary’s Fellowships.

RoS supports stamp collectors with an interest in any philatelic material commemorating Rotary International, its districts, local clubs, service projects and individual Rotarians around the world. More than 130 nations and countries have, over the years, honoured Rotary with an excess of 2000 stamps. This was particularly true in 2005 when a host of nations issued stamps to celebrate Rotary’s Centenary.

RoS publishes a bi-monthly newsletter giving details of all new issues of stamps featuring the many aspects of Rotary.

Further details of the Fellowship can be obtained by emailing Mike Gosney.
