In the local community

Within local communities, Rotary clubs carry out a range of different activities and projects with the aim of improving quality of life.

Projects include:

• KidsOut Day - an annual day out for disadvantaged children

• Fairs, Donkey Derbies and Fetes

• Youth opportunities - encouraging young people's talents

• Concerts and music events

• Vintage Car rallies

• Sponsored bike rides and races

• Christmas collections

• Support to local residential homes for the elderly or disabled

• Support to schools with mock interviews or business days

• Volunteering with local charities
