RIBI Conference fast approaching
Rotarians across Great Britain & Ireland are getting ready for the event of the year. The RIBI Conference is taking place in Dublin in April and is boasting a great line-up of speakers as well as opportunities for members to explore more volunteering projects.
Peace negotiator, Terry Waite, and Nobel Peace Price winner, Betty Williams, will be speaking to delegates about the importance of peace. They are being supported by actor Jeremy Gilley who successfully persuaded the United Nations to declare 21st September World Peace Day when all conflict will cease for the day.
The public are warmly invited to see Spotlight on Rotary in the RDS, a veritable market place of opportunities to find what Rotary does, meet the people behind the many worthwhile projects and discover how much fun members have whilst improving the lives of others.
