Seven days to go until Thanks for Life 2011

With just a week to go until Thanks for Life, Rotary clubs up and down the country are busy putting the finishing touches to their fundraising activities.

Schools and workplaces have signed up to wear purple on Wednesday 23rd February and make a donation to the cause. The colour represents the dye used to mark a child's little finger when they have been immunised against polio.

Thousands of purple crocuses planted last October are poking through the soil and creating landscapes of stunning colour whilst also reminding everyone that it is time step up to the challenge  of eradicating polio.

Get involved by contacting your local Rotary club and be part of the final push to help end polio for good.
