Thanks for Life says "Thank you"

News of great Thanks for Life events around Great Britain and Ireland is still coming in.

On the Isle of Man, the iconic Tower of Refuge was lit up in purple, symbolic of the dye used to mar a child's little finger once they have been protected from polio.

In Chichester, the Thanks for Life team rolled into town, complete with an exhibition on wheels to tell the public how close the world is to eradicating polio and all that is needed is a final push.

The many thousands of purple crocuses planted last year are starting to make their appearance in time for spring and in time for Thanks for Lfie.
