Competitions for Young People
Rotary International in Great Britain and Ireland (RIBI) is proud to offer a range of competitions and opportunities, as part of the New Generations programmes, throughout the 29 districts in RIBI.
Each of the competitions or opportunities aim to encourage and celebrate the talents of our young people.
These include the following which progress to a RIBI final.
- RIBI Youth Speaks
- RIBI Young Chef
- RIBI Young Musician
- RIBI Young Photographer
- RIBI Young Writer
- RIBI Young Citizen Awards
In addition, the following is promoted by RIBI, but does not at this time support a RIBI final:
Rotarians can find four certificate templates, under related downloads below, which can be adapted by clubs and districts as appropriate.
The certificates with the Inspired by London 2012 logo are only for use with Young Photographer, Young Writer and Youth Speaks. For all other competitions, please use the templates which do not carry the Inspired mark.
The two templates marked 'no-logo' do not carry the Rotary wheel emblem, these should be used for printing directly onto embossed logo card sheets, which already have an embossed Rotary emblem on them. This card is available from the RIBI Shop.
Full rules for each competition are available via the links above. Rotarians who are organising competitions must also read the essential guidance provided, regarding budgets, protecting young and vulnerable people and health and safety regulations.
