Future Vision

The Future Vision (FV) plan for The Rotary Foundation is currently in the last year of a three year pilot, where 100 districts worldwide are testing the new model. In RIBI there are four pilot districts.  These are 1020, 1070, 1120 and 1130.  Any of the district Foundation teams in these pilot districts will be pleased to help other districts with the transition to Future Vision, which is now well under way.

Non-pilot districts are asked to start familiarisation with the new model by understanding the six areas of focus and aligning their activities within them.

Transition to FV

The global launch of The Rotary Foundation’s new grant model, outlined in the Future Vision Plan, is approaching. The new grants allow Rotarians to change people’s lives, make the world better, and meet the five core values of the strategic plan.

To prepare your district to begin participating on 1st July 2013, review the timeline of major events and see the latest transition plan from RI here.

A 20 minute PowerPoint presenation is available below which explains the basics of the transition.

For any further support please contact your Regional Rotary Foundation Co-ordinator, Bob Higgins (Zone 17) or Ian Legge (Zone18a), or the Future Vision Specialist on the RIBI Committee, John Dehnel.
