Re-organisation of RIBI
The April 2012 business meeting accepted the proposed management re-organisation of RIBI. More details will follow after the General Council meeting at the end of April 2012.
The changes will follow this timeline:
SUBJECT to:
Approval by the 2013 Council on Legislation, as required by the constitutional documents of both Rotary International and RIBI, of proposed legislation to change the name of the General Council to the RIBI Board with consequential restructuring
IT IS RESOLVED the following timetable of implementation for changes be adopted:
1. 1 July 2012 to 30 June 2013 the General Council to undertake the duties of the proposed District Governor’s Forum.
2. 1 July 2012 to 31 January 2013 the General Council, together with the Standing committees thereof, consider potential legislation for new RIBI By-laws for consideration by the 2013 Annual Conference of RIBI.
3. 1 January 2013 the RIBI Board designate to be in place.
4. 1 January 2013 to 30 June 2013 the RIBI Board Designate, assisted by the RIBI Constitutions committee, to draft a Code of Policies for the new structure for adoption by the 2012/13 General Council.
5. 1 July 2013 the new structure of the RIBI Board and District Governors’ Forum to commence.
