ROTARY SCHOOLS ATHLETIC SPORTS MEETING

Sunday, 30th June, 2002 - Rotary Club of Dulwich and Peckham will host an annual Schools Athletic Sports Meeting at Crystal Palace National Sports Centre.

The event, now in its 53rd year, will witness teams from 12 South London schools, both state and private, comprising of girls and boys aged 12 and 13, and 14 and 15 (school years 7 and 8 and 9 and 10), who will compete in both track and field events. Competitors have been nominated by South London Rotary Clubs.

Events will comprise of discus and shot putt, high-jump, long-jump and running races of 100, 200, and 400m. There will also be a 4 x 100m relay. Admission is FREE and there will be a photocall opportunity at 4.45pm, when presentations of trophies and medals for a number of category-winners will be awarded by the Deputy Mayor of the London Borough of Bromley. District Governors and Officers will also be present.
