In 2011, the Community and Vocational Service Group split into two separate groups in order to devote more time and expertise to each avenue of service. By providing resources to each area, more opportunities can be presented to Rotarians and more can be achieved. Clubs and districts remain free to combine, or split, service committees to best suit the communities they serve.

The district community and vocational chairs will cover both service areas for the year 2011/12 unless districts decide to split responsibilities.

Explore this area of the RIBI website and discover groups which cover community and vocational service, such as the environment group, and resources for your projects including health and safety advice and project themes.

There are many ways for Rotarians, clubs and districts to get involved with worthwhile projects which have a positive impact on communities at home and abroad. Please visit the Opportunities to Serve area where details of projects supported by RIBI can be found. These projects have been checked and approved by RIBI General Council.
