Is there a good British polio information video I can show in schools or in my Rotary Club?

A DVD has just been professionally produced, fronted by Konnie Huq (Blue Peter and many other TV credits), recording the RIBI involvement in the November 2009 National Immunisation Day in India.  The schools DVD is 12 minutes long and gives an excellent insight into polio and the efforts to eradicate it (recommended age 8+).  This DVD has been distributed to all RIBI clubs.  As of 10 January it is also available for viewing on youtube.  Click here for part 1 and here for part 2.

My Club has raised some money for Polio Plus / End Polio Now - I have a cheque but have no idea where to send it.  Can you help?

Send a cheque to RIBI at Alcester made out to Rotary Foundation UK (RFUK) and marked End Polio Now / Polio Plus, making sure your club name is also included on the cheque so that credit can be made to the correct club.

Where can I get the "Amazing Stories of Polio" comics?

These are available from RIBI at the Rotary One Stop Shop (if any are left).  Try getting in touch there.

Where can I get pull up displays?

Further supplies of the Thanks for Life / End Polio Now / Rotary Day pull-up displays (to meet individual club/district requirements) can be ordered through District D1250.  Over 200+ have already been supplied to clubs. The price ranges from £60 on average, plus P & P and they can be obtained from D1250 AG Doug Price - e-mail dougprice@btconnect.com

Where can I get big posters for club or shop window display?

All clubs will shortly receive (or will have received) six A2 End Polio Now / Thanks for Life / Rotary Day posters which were distributed to District Governors in November 2009.

Are there any End Polio Now stickers for supermarket / shop collection days?

Yes!  The Rotary Club of Exmouth is producing these, using part of the Thanks for Life main logo.  2,000 stickers on a roll at an approximate cost of £10 per roll.  Delivery by early January.  Contact your District Governor or Thanks for Life Coordinator ASAP to ensure a bulk order goes in - this will keep costs down.

Where can I get End Polio Now merchandise?

Through the initiative of Jannine Birtwistle of the Rotary Club of Guernsey a fantastic selection of End Polio Now products have been produced with ALL profits going to End Polio Now through the Rotary Club of Guernsey.  Click here for details and an order form.

Are there any leaflets which clubs can hand out to schools or members of the public?

8,000 leaflets have been printed for each RIBI District and will be handed out with the posters described above.
