Rotary Young Musician
Music is the international language and Great Britain and Ireland host some of the most talented young instrumentalists and vocalist in the world. Rotary in Great Britain and Ireland wish to celebrate these young people with a sequence of competitions that offer thousands of young people the chance to demonstrate their skills.
This year the Rotary Young Musician competition moves forward again with the introduction of regional competitions before the grand final itself. Starting with club level competitions, winners progress to district events, then regional and finally a national competition.
The final will be held in Brentwood Cathedral on the 29th May 2010.
The quality of the performers is quite fantastic and if you get the chance to attend any of the competition events you will not leave without being impressed by the talent that the young people demonstrate.
This competition is open to young people 17 or under on the 31st August 2009. If you know of such young people in your schools or youth groups then seek out your local Rotary Club from the ‘Find a Club' button at the head of this page and ask them for details. Alternatively email or call RIBI via the ‘contact us' link above.
Full rules are available on the right of this web page. Please note that these rules apply to the regional and RIBI finals. District and local event rules may differ.
We look forward to hearing from you.
