After theoretical training, volunteers take tests to test their knowledge, as well as to get answers to the remaining questions. All volunteers who have been trained and successfully passed the test receive certificates.

Results

The first “School of Volunteers” was held in March-June 2017. 18 volunteers successfully passed the tests and received certificates 1 volunteer started working as a social worker at the Dovira office in Kaniv “School of Volunteers” arouses interest in the media – we are invited to the radio, on TV, write articles about the School and the achievements of volunteers. The second School received 40 applications from those wishing to study. One of the volunteers initiated the charity fair “Yalinka Dobra”, as a result of which master classes were held on making toys and selling them at the fair. Involved specialists who conduct interesting topics (eg “Volunteer’s passport”, “Non-violent communication”, “PR-organizations. Work with the media”, etc.) are invited to conduct classes at the “School of Volunteers”.

Specifics

Volunteer school is free and has no age restrictions. Classes vary depending on the request of students. Classes are conducted by professionals who live their business and will be able to talk about real work. Elements of the Living Library are used during the training. School is not boring, but fun, informative and practical! Here no one forces to study and does not put twos.
